🎨 Art Workshop – A Creative Leap! ✂️🌈
St. Farid Public School, Mandi Gobindgarh proudly organized an inspiring art workshop in collaboration with NGO Ek Nayi Udaan, MGG.
Ms Seema Kaushal, Founder & President, Ms Surabhi Bhatia, Cashier and Ms. Shruti Goyal, Team Member from the NGO were present on the occasion.
We were honoured to have Ms. Palak Garg, a London-based illustrator and artist, who introduced our students to the fascinating world of collage making. The session began with a basic introduction to colour theory, helping students understand primary and secondary colours and their combinations.
Students enthusiastically explored their creativity by making beautiful collages using coloured paper. They worked on different themes such as scenes, animals, and character compositions, showcasing their imagination and artistic skills.
The workshop encouraged creative freedom, independence, and enthusiasm, leaving students inspired and eager to experiment more with art.

With immense joy and festive spirit, Saint Farid Public School, Mandi Gobindgarh, celebrated the vibrant festival of Baisakhi along with a warm and cheerful Freshers Party for our tiny tots of Playway, Nursery, Ruby, and Diamond classes on 13th April 2026.
The school campus came alive with colors, laughter, and excitement as our little stars arrived dressed beautifully in traditional Punjabi attire, adding a touch of culture and elegance to the celebration.
The day was filled with delightful moments as students enjoyed music, dance, and fun-filled activities. The young learners enthusiastically spoke a few lines about the significance of Baisakhi, showcasing their confidence and learning.
Adding to the festive charm, children brought lovely Baisakhi props like phulkari, baskets, and wheat stalks, creating a lively and authentic cultural atmosphere.
The celebration also included a joyful party time where students relished their special tiffins with friends, making the day even more memorable.

A CBSE training session on “Promoting Mental Health and Wellness Among Students” was successfully conducted at St. Farid Public School under the guidance of Principal Dr. Amrita Singh.
