District-Level Deliberations (DLD) and workshops on integrating Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into school education were successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation at St. Farid Public School, Mandi Gobindgarh on 20th May 2026. These full-day, 6-hour offline workshops aimed at strengthening educators' understanding and readiness for the updated curriculum while fostering future-ready teaching practices.
The workshop focused on important sub-themes including:

📌 Mathematics as the Cornerstone of Computational Thinking

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 40 trainees and educators representing various schools including St. Farid Public School, Mandi Gobindgarh, GPS, Desh Bhagat School, Saffron City School, Greenfield School Sirhind, Bhartam World School, S.D. Model School, Diya International School, and Garden Valley School, Amloh.
Teachers actively participated in presentations, discussions, and collaborative deliberations, sharing innovative ideas and practical approaches for classroom implementation.

On 12 May 2026, Team Ek Nayi Udaan Women Organization, Mandi Gobindgarh organized the 5th Blood Donation Camp at Ram Bhawan, G.T. Road, Mandi Gobindgarh.
Students of Health and Wellness Team of St. Farid Public School, Mandi Gobindgarh enthusiastically participated in this noble cause by serving hydration drinks (Rooh Afza) to the blood donors and assisting in spreading awareness about the importance and benefits of blood donation.
The students also guided donors regarding proper diet and necessary precautions to be followed after blood donation.
Their active involvement reflected the spirit of compassion, social responsibility, and community service. Such initiatives help in nurturing empathy and humanitarian values among students while encouraging society to contribute towards saving lives. 🩸✨
